
Crispy Quesadillas with Chile Criollo
This crispy quesadilla recipe brings the crunch, while our original Chile Criollo adds just the right spicy kick. Simple, satisfying, and perfect for any occasion!
Ingredients:
12 Tortillas (buy the 'Street Tacos' style which are smaller)
8 oz Queso Fresco or Mozzarella (if you can't find it in the 'latino' section at your supermarket)
1 Cup Canola Oil
1/4 Cup Chile Criollo
How to:
1. Slice cheese thinly and place it in the center of each tortilla.
2. Fold tortillas in half and press the edges with dampened fingers to seal.
3. Pan-fry or deep-fry the quesadillas in about one inch of hot oil, flipping once or twice, until both sides are golden and crispy.
4. Let them drain on a rack or paper towels to remove excess oil.
5. Serve with Vigorón Cacao Chile Criollo for a spicy kick.
