
🥩 Tortitas de Carne (Beef Patties) with Chile Criollo Salsa
Tortitas de Carne (beef patties) - topped with a fresh tomato & Chile Criollo salsa, served over white rice spiced with extra chile for a bold, fiery finish. 🌶️🍅
Ingredients:
Beef Patties
- 1 lb ground beef
- ¼ onion, diced
- ¼ green pepper, diced
- 6 garlic cloves, minced
- Salt & pepper
Salsa
- ½ beefsteak tomato, chopped
- 2 tbsp Chile Criollo
How To:
1. Mix & Season – Combine beef, onion, pepper, garlic, salt, and pepper.
2. Form Patties – Roll into balls using your hands then shape into palm-sized rounds, about ¾" thick.
3. Cook – Sear on medium-high heat, 3–5 min per side until browned and cooked through.
4. Make Salsa – Mix chopped tomato with Chile Criollo. Spoon over patties.
5. Serve & Enjoy – Plate with white rice—add a spoonful of Chile Criollo to spice it up!
