
Tostones con Queso
Golden, crispy tostones meet the bold kick of our spicy Chile Criollo , topped with slices of queso fresco for the perfect balance of crunch, heat, and creamy freshness.
Ingredients:
4 Tostones (frozen)
8 oz Queso Fresco
2 Cups Frying Oil (Vegetable, Sunflower or Canola)
3 Tsp Chile Criollo
How To:
1. Heat & Cook – Take frozen tostones out of the freezer. Frying: Heat 1 cup of oil to 350°F, then fry for 3–4 minutes until lightly golden. Air Frying: Preheat the air fryer to 350°F. Cook tostones for 5 minutes, then flip and cook for another 5 minutes until crisp.
2. Drain & Season – Place tostones on paper towels to absorb excess oil if fried.
3. Top with Queso – Arrange tostones on a plate and top each one with a slice of queso fresco.
4. Serve & Enjoy – Pair with our original spicy Chile Criollo for the perfect bite!
